AFTERCARE
During the healing process (~10 days):
-For the first five minutes after your appointment, pat your procedure area a few times every minute with a clean/dry tissue to get any lymph fluid off and prevent scabbing
-Cleanse your procedure area every morning and night with warm or cool (not hot) water and pat dry with a clean towel- wipe gently and cup hands with water to rinse
-Apply a thin layer of the ointment/lotion you recieved with a q-tip 3 times a day; morning, mid-day and night (a rice sized amount will be enough for both brows)
-Do not touch your procedure area; it is an open wound and you want to be careful of infections
-Keep your procedure area dry, with the exception of your morning/night washing
-Keep your face away from steam, which opens your pores and softens scabs
-Showering: take short, cool/warm showers and face away from shower head; do not let water, shampoo, or conditioner get on your procedure area
-Do not put makeup or lotion on procedure areas
-Do not pick, rub or scratch scabs/flakes
-No sun exposure or tanning beds- this will fade your color
-No working out or exercising
-Avoid sweating (at all if possible)- the salt will lift the pigment out
-Do not sleep on your face
-Brows will fade ~30% during the healing process
